I’ve said it before (like yesterday), and I still believe it’s true (I know , it was only yesterday): morning workouts are the best (see, Cosmo says it, too). But what if you have kids, lunches to pack, a job to get ready for, breakfast to eat, ALL OF THAT?

Me too. I hear you, and I’m exhausted for both of us.

Sometimes despite our best efforts, we have next to no time for a workout in the morning. I’ve come up with a solution! In the morning, no matter how rushed I am, I find that one thing is consistent: I always make the coffee.

Therefore, I’ve got a workout for you that you can get done in the time it takes to brew the coffee. Go, do it quick! No, it won’t replace every workout forever, but midweek when you’re pressed for time?

Press Brew on the pot and run do this:

  1. 10 burpees (Yes, start with those so you can get them done!)
  2. 10 push-ups
  3. 10 squats
  4. 20 jumping jacks
  5. Drop to plank for 15 seconds.

Whew! You did it! Is the coffee ready yet? No?


Now go drink your coffee and be proud. No matter what else happens today, you’ve got your workout in.
